Different Methods Of Hair Removal
Lots of people have to face the problem of unwanted hair on different parts of the body and have struggled unsuccessfully with methods of removing them for ever. The type of hair removal technique that is best suited for you depends on the area and density of hair growth as well as on your type of skin and its sensitivity.
The most common means of removing unwanted hair is shaving. Even though shaving is effective and inexpensive, the problem is that it is only short-term and you need to keep on shaving on a regular basis in order to ensure hair-free skin. For instance, men shave their beards every day. Shaving is also suitable for ridding body parts such as chest or legs of hair.
Another technique is waxing hair off the body. However, the procedure is messy and generally cannot be done without assistance from others. The advantage is that while waxing, the hair is extracted from the root, which results in a longer span of hair-free skin as the hair takes about a fortnight to start growing back. However, it is a painful process and it might not be appropriate for removal of hair from sensitive parts.
Application of hair removal lotion is yet another often used technique, and since its application is simple, you can do it on your own. While this is free from pain, the hair grows back faster than in the case of waxing. There is another risk that your skin may react to the chemicals in the cream, resulting in a rash.
Those who have unbalanced hair growth over their bodies can go for hair transplant from the areas with more growth to the areas with lesser growth. This is a complicated process and should be applied only in case there are no other options.
The last method, also the costliest of all, is laser hair removal treatment. The main benefit of laser treatment is its everlasting results. But in order to avoid marks or other accidents, it should only be done by trained professionals.
